WHERE WE ARE:
Our Headquarter is located in Asaba, Delta state, Nigeria. Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI promotes gender equality, women’s empowerment, women rights, SGBV prevention and response, affordable and clean energy in our primary health care centers to support SGBV survivors access quality medical services , rehabilitation and empowerment of female prisoners into the society after serving their jail term, menstrual hygiene management, through a network of regional, states and liaison offices.
DELTA STATE
Being the headquarter of the Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI, we have shown commitment in the state towards promoting gender equality , SGBV prevention and response, skill development & empowerment of women and girls, women’s rights, energizing primary health centers with clean and affordable solar energy to enable SGBV survivors access to quality medical services, menstrual hygiene management, and rehabilitation & empowerment of female prisoners to ensure they properly reintegrate into the society after serving their jail term.
FCT ABUJA
Our work here centres on SGBV prevention and response, women’s right , menstrual hygiene, gender equality and energizing primary health centers with clean and affordable solar energy to enable SGBV survivors access to quality medical services.
EDO STATE
Our focus in the former Bendel state have been geared towards the welfare of women in the correctional centers(female prisoners) as well as menstrual hygiene management and rehabilitation and empowerment
LAGOS STATE
This state provides a framework for the activities of the Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI in relation to women’s rights , gender equality and rehabilitation/empowerment of female prisoners to ensure their proper reintegration
BORNO STATE
Our work in this state focuses on women empowerment and women’s rights.
ADAMAWA STATE
Our focus here is on Menstrual Hygiene Management and SGBV prevention and response
RIVERS STATE
Our focus in the state is on women’s empowerment and gender equality.
