Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI promotes the actualization of the Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs geared towards achieving gender equality, Menstrual Hygiene, SGBV Prevention and Response , Affordable and Clean Energy for Primary Health Care Centres to ensure SGBV survivors get easy access to quality medical services and championing partnership with governments institutions to design laws, policies, programmes and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented to benefit every woman and girl out there.
Our focus cut across these seven strategic priorities:
- Women and girls in Africa are protected from and enlightened on all forms of Sexual and Gender Based Violence – SGBV
- Women have income security, decent work and economic independence
- Women participate and strive in STEM skills while promoting gender equality by bridging the inequality gap that exists in relation to the participation of women in STEM and curbing drastically the issue of climate change the has rocked the world for ions.
- Women and girls contribute to and have greater influence in leadership and building sustainable peace and resilience
- Our young girls who are on their cycles are provided for and enlightened on Menstrual Hygiene Management
- Women are empowered to actively participate in providing affordable and clean energy to primary health care centers to enable survivors of SGBV easy access to quality medical services
- Capacity building, rehabilitation and economic empowerment of female prisoners to ensure proper reintegration into society after serving their jail term.
